The Pennsylvania Lottery officially went live via the Internet on with 11 instant win games and has since expanded their library to well over 60. The bill made PA the sixth, and most populous, US state to pass iLotto legislation at the time. Last fall, lawmakers passed a landmark gambling package which, apart from legalizing PA online casinos and a spate of satellite gambling venues, also permits the state to offer lottery games via the Internet. Pennsylvanians have been able to purchase lottery games at retailers throughout the state for five decades, but they now have the ability to do so from the comfort of their own homes as well.
